We bring to every project our accumulated skills as leading innovators in the use of GIS for planning. We model land use and transportation – knowing the interconnectedness of both. For each project, our team develops a “virtual present” within the GIS system that allows for detailed analysis of current conditions. We model conditions such as existing access to parks and open space, roads and transit, and job locations. The modeling allows the team to tailor alternative growth scenarios in ways that maximize opportunities for creating change that is positive and minimizing the chance of introducing changes that are not beneficial. We have experience analyzing GIS for some of the most innovative cities in the nation's biggest and most successful regions, including Southern California, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Austin and Portland.
